In May 2022 we had a fun visit with the children at the Dai An Orphanage. We stay in constant contact with the caretakers at the orphanage, and ensure that the children have everything that they need. This month, the caretakers gave us a detailed list of food and supplies they needed, and our team started organizing a visit. We bought everything on the list at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out to the orphanage.
On this visit, we brought racks of eggs, dried anchovies, quail eggs, pork, chicken, pork bones, scallops, dried shrimp, fresh shrimp, meat pies, bar soap, toiletries, mops, brooms, and cleaning products.
As a fun treat for the children, our lead coordinator Mai Khanh brought out lots of ice cream and ice cream cones. Everyone got yummy ice cream!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE
The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
