In May 2022 we had a fun visit with the children at the Sunflower Orphanage. We had reached out to the caretakers and asked what provisions they required this month. They provided a detailed list of items, and our team of volunteers were able to buy everything at local shops in Nha Trang. We loaded up a van and brought everything to the orphanage. The children met our team in the courtyard and helped carry all the food and supplies into the main common room.

On this trip, we brought packages of milk, dried shrimp, racks of eggs, bags of rice, soy sauce, siracha, bags of mushrooms, peanuts, seasonings, bean curd, crackers, bean sauce, breadcrumbs, cooking oil, detergent, and many new pairs of sandals.

The children were eager to try on their new sandals. Next, our team prepared iced coffee drinks for everyone. So yummy!

This charity trip to the orphanage was made possible through a kind donation from the Vietnamese Student Association at Rowan University. Thank you!!!
