In June 2021 we had a big party with lots of games at the Dai An Orphanage. In addition to bringing our monthly supply of essential food to the orphanage, we wanted to do something special for the children. We coordinated with the caretakers and arranged to have a fun surprise for the children.
When our team arrived, the children helped carry all the supplies and foods into the courtyard. On this visit, we brought squid, pork, ribs, eggs, seasonings, milk, detergent, brooms, dish soap, floor soap, and hand soap.
Next, we brought the children to the small park in front of the orphanage. Our team of volunteers staged a series of fun games and competitions with the children. Everyone was running around having so much fun! The winners of the games were awarded prizes. The prizes were varieties of snacks, so when they opened the boxes, everyone got to share. It was a lovely day!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE
The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
