In December 2023 we had a fun Christmas party with the children at the Thien An Charity Home. We had reached out to the caretakers and told them that we wanted to do something special for the children, in addition to bringing a monthly supply of food for the home. The caretakers approved our plan, and our team of volunteers organized everything.
On the day of the visit, we bought all the food and general supplies that caretakers had requested for the month. We also organized some fun Christmas activities for the children. On this charity trip, we brought packages of sausages, eggs, quail eggs, yogurt, milk, packages of noodles, sugar, fish balls, candies, snacks, boxes of ramen, and office supplies.
For the Christmas party, the children got dressed in adorable Santa outfits, and our team handed out snacks and big balloons for everyone. We even had Santa on hand to help out. It was a wonderful day!

ABOUT THE THIEN AN CHARITY HOME AND SCHOOL
This loving place is located in the hilly countryside of Khanh Hoa province. There are very few schools in this region and illiteracy among children is high. The local Thien An Catholic Church sought to help the children complete their schooling, so started the Thien An Charity Home and School. The children have housing accommodations and receive their meals in a communal dining hall. Classrooms have been set up so the children can all receive the education they richly deserve.
