This November 2025, our team had a truly great visit to the Anh Dao Orphanage in Ninh Hoa! After coordinating closely with the dedicated caretakers to understand their most pressing needs, we compiled a detailed list and headed straight to the local markets.

We successfully procured a huge van-load of essential supplies, including bags of rice, baby formula, vegan meats, seafood, eggs, mushrooms, varieties of noodles, boxes of soup, detergent, bar soap, fresh vegetables, and seasonings.

When we arrived, the older children eagerly helped us unload everything into the main common room—a wonderful demonstration of teamwork!

To make the day extra special, our volunteers then prepared a fun treat: delicious ‘kem flan’ custard cups. The children gathered happily in the common room to enjoy their feast!

Thank you so much to our kind donors: Luanne Lemmer, Koshu Takatsuji, Kateryna Lo, Daniel Cole, Tri Phung, Linh Lam, and Shanzay Gill Yabe. Your generosity made this impactful charity trip possible.

About the Anh Dao Orphanage

Established in 2004 by Buddhist nun Thich Nu An Son, the Anh Dao Orphanage is a safe haven for a large group of children in need. Located in Ninh Hoa, just 62 kilometers north of Nha Trang, this heartfelt home offers a structured and nurturing atmosphere where joy and kindness flourish. Visitors are always struck by the cheerful spirits of the children and the genuine delight of spending time talking, playing, and simply being present with them.

To support the children’s nourishment and help offset monthly expenses, Sister An Son cultivates a modest farm behind the orphanage, near the girls’ living quarters. The farm yields fresh vegetables that are served in daily meals, and any surplus is sold to contribute to the home’s upkeep. It’s a beautiful cycle of care, sustainability, and love in action.
