In April 2023 we had a fun lunch barbeque at the Dai An Orphanage on our monthly visit. We had contacted the caretakers and asked what general provisions they needed this month. They gave us a detailed list of items and our team made preparations to visit. We wanted to do something special for the children, so our volunteers bought extra supplies for a fun meal together.

When we arrived, our team went straight to the kitchens and began setting up grilling stations. They cut up French bread and laid out skewers of meats and vegetables on the grill.

The children all gathered next to the supplies we brought. On this visit, we brought packages of glass noodles, dried fish, dried meat, black beans, peanuts, shrimp, squid, varieties of fresh fish, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, sausages, ketchup, siracha, diapers, and baby formula.

When lunch was ready, the children came into the dining hall for a feast. It was a lovely day!

This charity trip was made possible through the kindhearted donations from Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!
