In August 2023 we had a great visit at the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. After coordinating with the caretakers, we organized a visit with lots of food, general supplies, and some fun surprises for the children. Our team did the shopping for provisions at local markets in Nha Trang, loaded up a van, and made the drive out to the home.
The children greeted our team and helped bring the items to the steps of the courtyard. On this visit, we brought milk, soy sauce, sausages, penne noodles, sugar, cooking oil, fish sauce, canned meat, fresh fruit, eggs, floor soap, detergent, brooms, cleaning products, a standing fan, bowls, places, cups, and classroom decorations.
As a fun treat, we prepared cups of cream with Oreos and chocolate syrup. A yummy treat for everyone!

ABOUT THE HY VONG HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in the Suoi Cat district to the west of Nha Trang, the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders and disabilities whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving and caring environment for a group of amazing children.
