On April 7, 2017 we made a visit to the Sunflower Orphanage. Located in the heart of Nha Trang, Sunflower cares for teenage orphans, while its sister orphanage, Dai An, cares for younger orphans in the countryside to the south of Nha Trang. We contacted the caregivers at Sunflower about their immediate needs, and they asked for some general supplies plus 2 classroom whiteboards to help the children with their lessons. Our team put together a project, and came to the orphanage with bags of rice, seasonings, laundry detergent, and 2 brand new whiteboards. We handed out treats and balloons to the orphans, and they quickly made a fun balloon game in the orphanage courtyard.
