On March 26, 2018 we brought medical supplies and general foodstuff to the Khanh Son Charity Home & School. Located in the Khanh Son region, this home is a loving place that houses and cares for many of the community’s children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. The nuns provide a nurturing environment for all, ensure the children attend local public schools, and offer free daycare, kindergarten, and after school tutoring lessons.
On this visit, we restocked the home’s medicine cabinet, and brought general foodstuff including bags of rice and boxes of noodles. It was a nice day, and the children wanted to show off their bicycle riding skills in the main courtyard. Then everyone had a fresh bowl of noodle soup for lunch. It was a fun visit!
This trip was made possible through the kind donations of Juli and Kyle.
