On October 27, 2016 we visited the Dai An Orphanage with lots of general supplies. Dai An is a loving home to young children, located in a peaceful countryside setting to the west of Nha Trang. The sister orphanage to the Sunflower Orphanage, Dai An cares only for very young children, and it is always a joy to visit all of the smiling little ones on our visits. Reliant solely on donations for survival, we regularly contact the caretakers at Dai An to learn their most pressing needs. On this visit, we brought bags of rice, boxes and bags of different noodles, cooking oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, and snack bags for the children.
Our volunteers also got to see the children practicing a dance for school, and playing outside in the courtyard. This visit was provided by the continued and loving support of Sharon Kelly and Stephen Milne.
