In April 2025, we were pleased to deliver essential supplies to the Martino Charity Home. As part of our monthly routine, we coordinate closely with the caretakers to identify their most pressing needs. Following their guidance, we arrange for local markets to deliver items directly to the home.

This month’s delivery included a variety of meats, packages of noodles, toiletries, sugar, boxes of ramen, detergent, milk, cooking oil, seasonings, eggs, and snacks.

The caretakers shared many wonderful pictures of the children throughout the month, showing their energy and spirit. They are truly amazing children!

This supply trip was made possible by the kind donations from Steven Burger and Florian De Rop. Our sincere thanks to both of you for your generosity!

About the Martino Charity Home

Located in the rural heart of Quang Tri province, approximately 90 kilometers northwest of Hue, lies the warm and welcoming Martino Charity Home. This region is home to the unique Bru-Van Kieu ethnic group, who possess a distinct language and culture spanning central Vietnam into Laos and Thailand. Unfortunately, high levels of poverty here place immense pressure on local families. The Martino Charity Home was founded specifically to provide shelter and care for young children in this area whose families face significant challenges in supporting them.

Adjacent to the Phuoc Tuyen Catholic Church and overseen by Father Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, this loving home provides year-round care for approximately 33 children, aged 6 to 11. The dedicated nuns and caretakers offer not just housing and meals, but a truly nurturing environment where the children can feel loved and safe to grow and thrive. Beyond providing a stable home, they ensure the children attend local elementary schools and receive valuable extra tutoring on-site.
