On August 18, 2017 we visited the Thien Tam Orphanage to sponsor the education of all the children. Thien Tam is a loving home to 13 orphans in a peaceful setting to the south of Nha Trang. With the school year approaching, the caretakers at Thien Tam must pay the many costs of the children’s education. This includes buying new school uniforms, textbooks, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and paying school fees. On this visit, we brought everything the children would need for the upcoming school year, and paid all their school fees. The caretakers were so happy!
To start the visit off, our coordinator Loan brought out lots of balloons for the children. The orphans had put on their new school uniforms, and brought their balloons to the courtyard with all their new school books, backpacks, and supplies. The children then sang a song and performed a dance that they had learned in school. It was a very fun visit!
Sponsoring the education of the children at Thien Tam was made possible through the kind donation of Hien Le of the UK and the Lovingkindness Vietnam General Fund. Thank you!!!
