This June, our team headed to the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children to celebrate a major milestone: the end of the school year! The dedicated nuns at Hy Vong provide vital education to these wonderful children, and we were honored to help present their end-of-year certificates celebrating their hard work and advancement to the next grade.

To make the day extra special, we brought plenty of joy—and essentials—with us. Thanks to our incredible community, we restocked the Home’s pantry with staple items like rice, noodles, instant soup, milk, chili sauce, and seasonings.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a celebration without some fun! The children’s faces lit up as we handed out balloons and treats. Next, everyone sat down for a big lunch that we provided from a local restaurant. Each child also received a special gift pack to take home to their families, complete with coloring books, markers, stuffed animals, and a brand-new outfit.

It was a beautiful day dedicated to celebrating these amazing kids. This meaningful trip was made entirely possible by our generous donors Steven Burger and Littlechad Newfield. Thank you for bringing so much happiness and support to Hy Vong Home!
