Monthly Supplies for the Phu Quang Orphanage
In July 2024 we brought food and general supplies to the Phu Quang Orphanage. We had coordinated with the orphanage caretakers about when they needed this month to provide for the children. They gave us a detailed list and our team began making preparations. We bought all the provisions at local markets and had everything delivered directly to the orphanage.
This month, we brought bags of rice, boxes of ramen, milk, cooking oil, crackers, seaweed, flour, baking flour chili oil, cereal, snacks, toothpaste, laundry detergent, soap, and cleaning products. Special gifts included new shoes and lots of stuffed toys for the children!

ABOUT THE PHU QUANG ORPHANAGE
The Phu Quang Orphanage was founded by Sister Thich Nu Dieu An at the Phu Quang pagoda in the early 2000’s. For many years, the orphanage has been a loving home to a group of orphans and a foster home to neighborhood children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. Phu Quang cares for just under 15 children in a loving environment. Sister Thich Nu Dieu An passed away in 2023, and the orphanage is run by the nuns of the Phu Quang pagoda.
