On July 24, 2015 we paid 100% of the school costs at the Nhan Ai Orphanage. This was made entirely possible through the kindness of the McDuffie and Stewart families. Not long ago, we were contacted by Loan and Becki about organizing projects that would have immediate impact on the orphans. We contacted Sister Huong at Nhan Ai, who told us that the school year was going to begin next month. Nhan Ai must pay the school fees of 68 students, from primary school through university. The costs can add up quickly, as the orphanage must buy uniforms, textbooks, school supplies, and pay a range of school fees.

Through the generosity of the McDuffie and Stewart families, we were able to pay for everything for the 2015-2016 school year. The nuns at the orphanage were overjoyed! We have also begun several other projects with Loan and Becki’s support, which we will be posting over the coming months.

While the nuns appreciate the magnitude of this donation, the younger children are always more excited about the smaller gifts that come with our visits. So we threw them an ice cream party to mark the occasion.

THANK YOU!!!
