In April 2021 we brought lots of supplies and food to the Phu Quang Orphanage. We spoke with the head nun and made a detailed list of items the orphanage needed. Our team went to local markets, bought everything on the list, and drove out to the orphanage. The children were excellent helpers and carried everything inside.

On this visit, we brought vegan pork, vegan meat pies, sticky rice, vegan fish sauce, vegan bao, packages of soup, vegan dumplings, mung bean sticky rice, fried brown rice, canned vegan pork, canned vegan beef, sugar, peanuts, and soy sauce.

We brought balloons for the children to play with, and the little ones had lots of fun in the main common room. We also brought some snacks for everyone to enjoy. A lovely visit!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Cuong Vo and Maxhnguyen’s Store. Thank you!

ABOUT THE PHU QUANG ORPHANAGE

The Phu Quang Orphanage was founded by Sister Thich Nu Dieu An at the Phu Quang pagoda in the early 2000’s. For many years, the orphanage has been a loving home to a group of orphans and a foster home to neighborhood children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. Phu Quang cares for just under 15 children in a loving environment.
