In March 2024 we brought food and supplies for the month to the Thien Tam Orphanage. We had coordinated with the caretakers and bought everything on their shopping list at local markets. Our team of volunteers loaded up a van and made the drive out to the orphanage.
When we arrived, the children greeted our team and helped carry everything to the courtyard. On this visit, we brought bags of rice, ramen, cooking oil, milk, fish, meat, shrimp, sugar, fresh vegetables, yogurt, seasonings, mushrooms, dried shrimp, shampoo, brooms, and cleaning products.
As a treat for the children, we handed out ice cream popsicles for all to enjoy. It was a lovely day!

ABOUT THE THIEN TAM ORPHANAGE
Founded in 2004, the Thien Tam Orphanage lies 20 minutes south of Nha Trang’s city center, in Phuoc Dong ward. The orphanage is run by Nguyen Dinh Chi and his wife Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. A former orphan himself, Chi set up the orphanage in his home as a place of love and sanctuary for orphans in the community. They currently care for a small group of adolescents.
