In May 2024 we brought lots of food and general supplies to the Phu Quang Orphanage. We had reached out to the caretakers and learned which items they needed this month. We worked with local markets and had everything delivered straight to the orphanage.
When the supplies arrived, the children helped the nuns carry everything into the common room. This month, we brought porridge, rice, mushrooms, sugar, noodles, soy milk, cooking oil, seasonings, soy sauce, laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid.
The head nun at Phu Quang also sent us lots of fun pictures of the children from May.

ABOUT THE PHU QUANG ORPHANAGE
The Phu Quang Orphanage was founded by Sister Thich Nu Dieu An at the Phu Quang pagoda in the early 2000’s. For many years, the orphanage has been a loving home to a group of orphans and a foster home to neighborhood children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. Phu Quang cares for just under 15 children in a loving environment. Sister Thich Nu Dieu An passed away in 2023, and the orphanage is run by the nuns of the Phu Quang pagoda.
