In January 2025 we brought food and general supplies to the Ngoc Van Orphanage, plus special gifts to celebrate the Lunar New Year. We coordinated with the caretakers and bought all the supplies at local markets. When our team arrived at the orphanage, the children came out to greet us and helped bring everything inside.

For general supplies, we brought vegan chicken, vegan fish, boxes of ramen, rice, crackers, pickles, noodles, cereal, olives meat pies, pork, cooking oil, seasonings, wipes, and laundry detergent.

To ring in the Lunar New Year, we brought banh Tet sticky rice cakes, watermelon seeds, cashews, chestnuts, raisins, dates, Choco Pies, and soft drinks. Our team also handed out slices of sponge cake for all to enjoy. It was a lovely day!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from Ronald Schierer and Paul Baty. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE

Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for by the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
