On October 20, 2012 the last of the bookshelves were put in at the Loc Tho Charity School. This concluded a project funded by Americans Richard and Marjorie. The Loc Tho Charity School provided free primary school education to poor youngsters in their community. Previous rainy seasons had seen the classrooms flooded, and books and school supplies ruined. There are now glass encased shelves in every room, high above any possible flood line to keep the books safe.

Our lead coordinator, Hiep, supervised the project, and is a regular visitor to the school. In October, she brought with her some volunteers who taught English classes to the children. Our thanks to Richard and Marjorie for supporting this wonderful cause!
