Our team returned to Ngoc Van Orphanage this July for another meaningful hands-on visit and supply delivery. To ensure every dollar went directly where it was needed most, we coordinated closely with the local caretakers ahead of time to build a targeted wishlist.
Thanks to the wonderful support of our donor community, we packed our delivery van to the brim with market-fresh essentials, including:
- Pantry & Nutrition: Baby formula, fresh milk, flavored milk, and condensed milk.
- School & Personal Goods: Brand-new backpacks and sturdy shoes for the growing children.
- Hygiene & Cleaning Staples: Shampoo, hand sanitizer, dishwashing liquid, floor cleaner, and essential household cleaning supplies.
After unloading, the team surprised all the kids with cool yogurt cups for an afternoon treat! The children happily jumped in to help carry boxes and restock the kitchen pantries alongside our volunteers.
This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from Christopher Dang and a separate anonymous donation in memory of Hue Hao Nguyen. Thank you for continuing to bring comfort, care, and practical help to the children at Ngoc Van!
ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE
Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for by the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
