In February 2025 we had a lovely visit to the Ngoc Van Orphanage. We had reached out to the caretakers and arranged to bring food and other supplies on our regular visit. Our team bought everything at local markets, loaded up a van, and made the drive out to see the children.
This month, we brought boxes of ramen, packages of rice noodles, packages of yellow noodles, milk, baby formula, racks of eggs, dish soap, and laundry detergent.
As a special surprise, our team prepared ice cream, cones, and cholate syrup for all the little ones.
This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from Luanne Lemmer. Thank you!!!
ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE
Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for by the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
