In December 2022 we sponsored a fun holiday party for the children at the Khanh Son Charity Home. We reached out to the head nun and asked if we could do something special for the children. She suggested a big lunch with lots of special treats. We thought it was a great idea, so sponsored the feast.
Around Christmas day, the nuns put together a big lunch with sweet tea drinks for dessert. They sent us pictures and it looked like so much fun!

ABOUT THE KHANH SON CHARITY HOME AND SCHOOL
Located far to the southwest of Nha Trang, Khanh Son is a rugged mountainous region with scattered farming villages, all in poverty. Composed mainly of ethnic Raglay minorities, children do not often attend school or receive the proper care. In 2016, Sister Huong and several other nuns founded the home and school for the children of the poor communities in the region. It is a loving place that houses and cares for many of the community’s children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. Some of the children stay at the home year-round, sleep in dormitories, and have meals together in a communal dining hall. The nuns provide a nurturing environment for all, ensure the children attend local public schools, and offer free daycare, kindergarten, and after school tutoring lessons.
