In May 2025 we made our monthly visit with the children at the Ngoc Van Orphanage. We had reached out to the caretakers and arranged to bring food and other supplies on our next visit. Our team bought everything at local markets, loaded up a van, and made the drive out to the orphanage.
When we arrived, the children came out to greet our volunteers and help stack all the provisions in the common room. This month, we brought packages of noodles, fresh fruit, formula, varieties of milk, cooking oil, sugar, chocolate, and seasonings.
For a yummy treat, our volunteers prepared boba tea and jello for all the children to enjoy. It was a lovely visit!
This charity trip was made possible through the kindness of anonymous donors. Our thanks to everyone who donated!!!
ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE
Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for by the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
