On March 8, 2016 we joined the efforts of friends from the Long Son Pagoda in Nha Trang on 2 charity trips to poor communities in Phan Rang province. When we learned of the upcoming visits, we were more than happy to be core contributors with their humanitarian work. Our lead coordinators, Loan and Nhan, accompanied the group on their day long visits. As with all of our charity work involving communities, we coordinated with local governments to assist in organizing the visits.

Our first visit in Phan Rang was to a church that cares for children and adults with neurological and mental health issues. In addition to providing the center with general provisions, we also gave out many necessary supplies to residents of the area who live in poverty. This included blankets, bags of rice, boxes of dried seafood, condensed milk, and clothes.

Our second visit was to a pagoda that provides services and shelter to homeless individuals and families in Phan Rang. We gave the center general provisions, including blankets, bags of rice, boxes of dried seafood, condensed milk, and clothes.

The contributions to these wonderful causes came through the continued kindness and generosity of the McDuffie and Stewart families.

Thank you!!!
