On June 14, 2016 we brought lots of healthy food and a fun treat party to the children of the Loc Tho Charity School and Orphanage. Loc Tho provides a free primary school to children in the neighborhood, whose parents cannot afford the costs of public school. The school has accredited teachers, and in addition to providing the children with textbooks, school supplies, and uniforms, also offers meals to the school children. At present, the school has over 130 students.
Through the kindness of Lloyd and Esther, we brought the school healthy food supplies for the children’s meals, including mushrooms, beans, milk, meat cakes, and soy products. As a bonus treat for the children in celebration of the end of their school year, our team organized a fun party with soy and jello treats, which are very popular with Vietnamese youngsters.
