In early July 2020 we made a visit to the Suoi Cat Charity Home with essential supplies for the home and special gifts for the children. We had contacted the home’s caretakers beforehand and learned of their most immediate needs. Our team did all the shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out to the Suoi Cat region.

The girls gathered in the common room, and our team prepared a yummy sweet drink for everyone to enjoy. Next, we handed out essential supplies to each child to bring to their families. Everyone got a box of noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, fish sauce, dried fish, seasonings, and clothes. There were big smiles all around!

This charity trip was made possible through the kindhearted donations of John Paul Kim. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE SUOI CAT CHARITY HOME

Suoi Cat is a poor community to the west of Nha Trang, composed of rural farming hamlets that live in poverty. The Suoi Cat Charity Home is a loving place that houses and cares for many of the community’s children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. The home is composed of young children and teenage girls, who stay at the home year-round, sleep in dormitories, and have meals together in a communal dining hall. The children attend public school and receive tutoring and extra lessons at the home.
