In February 2024 we had a lovely visit to the Thien An Charity Home. After speaking to the caretakers about their needs this month, our team did lots of shopping at local markets, and organized a trip north to visit the home. When we arrived, the children rushed out to greet our volunteers, and a few even climbed on Mai Khanh. So cute!
On this visit, we brought boxes of ramen, seasonings, rice crackers, packages of milk, glass noodles, instant pho, sausages, yogurt drinks, bottled water, lots of snacks, laundry baskets, buckets, bleach, toiletries, and mosquito spray.
As a treat for all the little ones, we handed out bubble tea drinks for everyone to enjoy. It was a wonderful day!

ABOUT THE THIEN AN CHARITY HOME AND SCHOOL
This loving place is located in the hilly countryside of Khanh Hoa province. There are very few schools in this region and illiteracy among children is high. The local Thien An Catholic Church sought to help the children complete their schooling, so started the Thien An Charity Home and School. The children have housing accommodations and receive their meals in a communal dining hall. Classrooms have been set up so the children can all receive the education they richly deserve.
