On August 22, 2020 we had a fun visit with the children at the Thien Tam Orphanage. We had coordinated with the caretakers ahead of time and made a detailed list of their current needs. On this visit, we brought fresh meats, packages of instant noodles, racks of eggs, canned pork stew, canned sardines, bottles of cooking oil, bottles of soy sauce, cheese, a bag of peanuts, bags of dried squid, shampoo, bags of rice, fresh quail eggs, fresh vegetables.

When our team arrived, the children were getting tutoring lessons in the orphanage’s classroom. They took a break and helped bring everything inside. As a fun treat, we brought sweet avocado drinks for all the children. After everyone had their snack, the children brought our volunteers out to the fruit and vegetable gardens next to the orphanage. Papaya trees, corn, and lots of fresh veggies. So fun!

This visit was made possible through a donation from the BEI Foundation. Thank you!!!
