On February 24, 2019 we made a fun visit to the Thien Tam Orphanage. Thien Tam is a loving home to a small group of orphans, located just south of Nha Trang. We contacted the caregivers to learn the orphanage’s most pressing needs, and organized a trip with lots of essential supplies. We brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, bottles of fish sauce, bottles of soy sauce, bags of bean varieties, packages of soups, milk, laundry soap, and snacks for the children.
When we arrived, the children helped unload the supplies from the truck, stack everything in the main courtyard, and unpack all the boxes. They were happy to be rewarded with snacks and dug right in.
