In July 2026, our team made our regular monthly trip to the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. Prior to shopping, we checked in with the dedicated caretakers to audit their current pantry and stock levels, making sure every donation went toward their most urgent daily needs.
Equipped with an updated checklist, we loaded up the van with essential food supplies, learning tools, and hygiene products to keep the home well-stocked for the weeks ahead.
What We Brought This Month:
- Pantry Staples & Seasonings: 50kg bags of rice, boxes of noodle soup, cooking oil, fish sauce, and assorted seasonings.
- Snacks & Drinks: Milk, healthy snacks, plus a surprise treat—freshly prepared fruit juice served to all the kids!
- Hygiene & Household: Toilet paper, bar soap, essential toiletries, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, and mosquito incense.
- Educational Supplies: New notebooks for daily learning.
This recurring monthly support is made possible entirely through the kindness of a generous family in the USA and an anonymous donor. Thank you for making these visits possible!
ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
