On October 30, 2015 we brought flu shots to all of the children at the Nhan Ai Orphanage. This charitable contribution was made possible through the kindness of the McDuffie and Stewart families.
With the onset of the rainy season and winter in Vietnam, cases of influenza tend to spike. This is especially acute at a large orphanage such as Nhan Ai, with so many littles ones in dormitories. The nuns at Nhan Ai asked if we could sponsor flu shots for all of the children, and we were happy to help. Local doctors and nurses came out to the orphanage, and administered shots to all of the children. Naturally, the younger orphans were very reluctant to get a shot, so we also provided drinks and snacks to help motivate them.
Thank you McDuffie and Stewart families for helping the children stay healthy!
