In May 2024 we completed a large construction project at the Nhan Ai Orphanage. The nuns had let us know that they needed to expand the orphanage bathrooms, and asked if we could contribute to the effort. We were happy to take part, and the nuns were thrilled!

It took a few months to finish the new bathrooms, and the nuns had a fun celebration to mark the event. Many of the children filed into the bathrooms and explored the new facilities. There were many big smiles! Afterwards, everyone gathered on the courtyard steps for popsicles.

This big project was made possible through the donations from Eamonn Gahan, Steven Burger, JL Support Services, and an anonymous donor. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE NHAN AI ORPHANAGE

Founded in 1996 by Sister Nguyen Thi Bao Quyen, the Nhan Ai Orphanage resides behind the Giao Xu Phu Nhon Catholic Church in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. The orphanage is run by the nuns of Nhan Ai and relies entirely upon donations, most of which come from people in the community. Nhan Ai is the largest orphanage that we assist and houses approximately 130 orphans in a wonderfully tranquil home. Several times a year, the nuns at the Nhan Ai Orphanage arrange to assist poor communities in their area.
