In late March 2020 we brought essential supplies to the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. With the virus in the region, Hy Vong was limiting visits to ensure the children’s safety. We wanted to make sure they had everything they needed in these trying times and coordinated with the nuns to make a charity trip. Our team of volunteers wore protective masks the entire time.
On this visit, we brought boxes of instant noodles, cans of condensed milk, bottles of fish sauce, bottles of chili sauce, packages of fresh milk, seasonings, wash cloths, towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, and cleaning supplies.
The children gathered on the front steps and were very happy when we handed out gift bags of treats to all the children. It was so nice to see these wonderful children again!
This wonderful gift was made possible through the kindness of a family in the USA. Thank you!!!
