In early May 2020 we visited the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. We had contacted the coordinators and learned of their most immediate needs. Our team of volunteers did the shopping at local markets and brought lots of essential supplies to the home. On this visit, we brought bags of rice, bottles of cooking oil, packages of yellow noodles, packages of instant pho, seasonings, condensed milk, pork, shrimp, vegetables, and cleaning supplies.
As a fun treat, our lead coordinator Mai Khanh brought out packages of ice cream and handed out ice cream cones and scoops of ice cream to all the children. A very fun visit!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
