In December 2020 we had a very special Christmas visit to the Dai An Orphanage. We wanted the children to have a very special holiday, so we coordinated with the caretakers to arrange a fun day for everyone. Our team brought lots of essential supplies and foodstuff, and the children helped stack everything inside. We brought a box of dried fish, package of mung beans, packages of sausages, shampoo, toiletries, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies.

We passed out Santa hats and balloons and the children got into the holiday spirit. Next, we brought the children to the orphanage’s dining hall and our volunteers prepared a holiday meal. We finished the day with 2 birthday cakes!

This special holiday visit was made possible through the kind donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
