We made a Christmas visit to the Thua Sai Charity Home. We spoke with the caretakers and brought some essential supplies for the Home, and presents for the children plus a yummy surprise. The supplies included cooking oil, seasonings, dish soap, and laundry detergent.

Our team handed out Santa hats to the children, who eagerly put them on. When everyone was gathered in the common room, we handed out gift bags to each child. The bags contained drinks, sweets, clothes, and some things for the children to take home to their families. Next, everyone sat in a circle in the common room and we brought out a special Christmas cake. Everyone got a slice – yummy!

This special Christmas visit was made possible through the kindness of Father John and the McDuffie family. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN

Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
