In December 2017 we brought a Christmas party to the Thien Tam Orphanage. Thien Tam is a small orphanage in a loving home, located in the countryside to the south of Nha Trang. We contacted the caregivers to learn their most immediate needs, and to arrange a Christmas party for the children. Our team loaded up a van with supplies, and arrived with Santa carrying a big bag of presents. For the orphanage’s general supplies, we brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, bags of beans, cans of sardines, milk, seasonings, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and many new blankets to keep the children warm at night.
The children put on their Santa outfits for the occasion, and lined up to receive their presents from Santa. The children performed some dances they had learned at school, then everyone sat down to open their presents. It was a very fun party!
