On December 24, 2017 we brought a Christmas party to the Suoi Cat Charity Home and School. Suoi Cat is a poor community to the west of Nha Trang, composed of rural farming hamlets that live in poverty. The Suoi Cat Charity Home and School is a loving place that houses and cares for many of the community’s children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. The home is composed of young children and teenage girls, who stay at the home year-round, sleep in dormitories, and have meals together in a communal dining hall.

We contacted the nuns and asked what their needs were, and suggestions on what to give the children for Christmas. Our team organized the trip, and drove out for a fun holiday party. All the girls gathered in their common room, and we stacked the home’s general supplies in the front. These included packages of noodles, bags of beans, laundry detergent, dish soap, and bathroom supplies. Our team handed out Santa hats and little necklaces to everyone, then everyone got presents. After opening their gifts, some of the children put on their new clothes. It was a very fun party!

This charity trip was made possible through the kindness of a family in the USA.

Thank you!!!
