We had a fun Christmas visit at the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. We coordinated with the caretakers and in addition to bringing essential supplies, arranged for a fun Christmas party for all the children. General supplies included sweet rice, cooking oil, white noodles, seasonings, baby formula, soy sauce, and toothpaste.
Mai Khanh handed out Santa hats to the children and one lucky boy got to dress up in a full Santa Claus outfit. Our little Santa then handed out presents to all the orphans. So much fun!
We also brought food and drinks for a barbeque party, and the children helped prepare and cook the food over several grills. The feast went from afternoon into evening. A wonderful holiday visit!
This special visit was made possible through the kindhearted donations of Jack Malone-Povolny and Nicole Malone Arne, Jennifer Nguyen, and KTD Services LLC. Thank you!!!
