On December 24, 2018 we visited the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children with a Christmas treat. Hy Vong is a loving home for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. There are children with cerebral palsy, autism, as well as deaf, mute, and blind children being cared for at the home. Located in the countryside to the southwest of Nha Trang, the nuns at Hy Vong provide for the children and offer a nurturing home.

We wanted to give the children a surprise at Christmas and organized a visit with the nuns at the home. We brought some essential supplies for the home and presents for all the children. Our team also brought lots of yummy treats for the children, who eagerly dug into their surprise lunch. Later the children helped put away the supplies and tried on their new clothes.

This fun holiday visit was sponsored by the Lovingkindness Vietnam General Fund.
