In July 2024 we had a great visit to the Ngoc Van Orphanage. After coordinating with the orphanage caretakers, we made a detailed shopping list of essential items. On the day of our visit, we bought bottles of cooking oil, noodles, and seasonings.

At a special request, we also brought lots of art supplies and new shoes for all the children. To make the visit extra special, our team prepared ice cream cones with chocolate syrup for everyone. So yummy!

While we were there, the children visited a nearby wading pool. Such a great way to keep cool in the summer heat!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from Dan, Van, and Devin Haynes and Harry Leong. Thank you!!! For  Harry, this visit was in memory of Mrs. Sau Yue Eng.

ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE

Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for by the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
