In mid-June 2020, we had a wonderful visit to the Dai An Orphanage. We had reached out to the caretakers at the orphanage to learn of their most pressing needs. Our team bought everything at local markets, loaded up a truck, and drove out to make a visit. Upon our arrival, the children were excellent helpers, and carried everything into the orphanage’s courtyard.

On this visit, we brought condensed milk, dried fish, seasonings, noodles, a box of eggs, laundry supplies, soccer balls, badminton sets, and gifts for the children. The children had lots of fun with their new sports equipment!

As a fun treat, we also brought sweet breads for the children to share, and as a refreshing treat on a hot day, made iced fruit drinks for all the children. It was a very fun visit!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
