In November 2018 we visited the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. Hy Vong is a loving home for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. There are children with cerebral palsy, autism, as well as deaf, mute, and blind children being cared for at the home. Located in the countryside to the southwest of Nha Trang, the nuns at Hy Vong provide for the children and offer a nurturing home.
We contacted the caretakers and organized a visit with some essential supplies. We brought bags of rice, bags of bean varieties, milk, soaps, shampoo, cleaning products, and 2 wall-mounted fans. The children had lots of fun with the snacks and balloons that we handed out. It was a lovely visit!
This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Khang Do.
Thank you!!!
