In November 2018 we visited the Suoi Dau Charity Home with some essential supplies. Located in the Suoi Dau district to the southwest of Nha Trang, the Suoi Dau Charity Home is a loving place that houses and cares for many of the community’s young boys whose families struggle to support and provide for them. The children stay at the facilities year-round, sleep in dormitories, and have meals together. The caretakers provide a nurturing environment and ensure the children attend school.
We contacted the caretakers and prepared a visit to bring essential supplies. We brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, seasonings, soaps and shampoos, laundry detergent, and a new pressure cooker. We handed out snacks to the boys, who sang our team a song they had learned in school.
