In February 2026, our team returned to the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children for a special Lunar New Year visit, an occasion defined by warmth and community spirit. The children at the home come from underprivileged families, and to ensure they could celebrate the season with dignity and joy, we arranged for each of them to receive a comprehensive Tet gift package to take home.

When our team arrived, the common room was transformed into a festive hub where the children gathered in eager anticipation. Each package included traditional staples and treats: a large banh Tet sticky rice cake, sunflower seeds, essential seasonings, soy sauce, soft drinks, festive sweets, and the much-anticipated red envelopes of lucky money.

Beyond the gift-giving, our team spent time with the children and handed out cups of, sweet tea that added a cozy touch to the afternoon. It was a lovely day!

This special holiday visit was made possible through the kindness of our donors: Steven Burger, Kateryna Lo, Daniel Cole, and Long Nguyen. Thank you for bringing joy to the children!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN

Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
