In early April 2020 we had a lovely visit to the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. With the virus still present in the region, many orphanages are limiting the number of visitors, and we wanted to make sure Sunflower had all the essential supplies they needed in this difficult time.
We spoke with the caretakers and made a detailed list of items they needed. Our team did all the shopping and delivered many essential supplies, including boxes of ramen noodles, boxes of instant pho, packages of milk, bags of rice, toiletries, and many new pairs of sandals.
As a special treat for the children, we also brought the yummy jello snack Dong Suong. The children tried on their new sandals and had Dong Suong. Our team stayed for a while as some of the children played in the courtyard, and everyone got ready for lunch. A lovely visit!
This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Dat Phan. Thank you!!!
