On December 2, 2018 we visited the Song Lo Orphanage with essential supplies. Song Lo is a small orphanage in a peaceful country setting, located to the south of Nha Trang. The nuns at Song Lo provide a caring and loving environment for these adorable children to grow up.
We contacted the nuns to learn of their most pressing needs. Our team bought everything at local markets and drove out to the orphanage. On this visit, we brought cartons of milk, packages of yogurt, packages of soy seasonings, packages of mushroom seasoning, bags of dried mushrooms, bottles of sauces, cans of soup, new shirts and socks, detergent, dish soap, cleaning products, diapers, bathroom products, and snacks.
The children gathered in the common room and enjoyed their snacks. Our team then watched the children playing and spent time with the nuns. It was a lovely visit!
