In June 2025, our team had the privilege of making our monthly visit to the Ngoc Van Orphanage. After coordinating with the caretakers, we gathered a variety of essential food and supplies, purchasing everything from local markets before loading up a van and heading to the orphanage.
Upon our arrival, the children eagerly came out to greet our volunteers and lend a hand in stocking the provisions in the common room. This month’s donations included baby formula, powdered milk, flavored milk, condensed milk, vegan ham, vegan chicken, vegan fish, seasonings, breading, and brooms.
To make the visit extra special, our volunteers also brought popsicles, which were a delightful treat for all the children. It was truly a lovely and fulfilling day.
This charitable endeavor was made possible by the incredible generosity of Thao Minn and Christopher Dang. We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who donated and supported this trip!
ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE
Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for by the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
