In January 2022 we had a great Tet visit to the Thien Tam Orphanage. The Lunar New Year is the biggest holiday of the year in Vietnam, and we wanted to bring some holiday joy to the children. We coordinated with the caretakers to combine our regular monthly visit with essential supplies and foodstuff with a special Tet visit.

Our team made a list of items the orphanage needed and bought everything at local markets. They loaded up a van and drove out to the orphanage. We brought yogurt, bags of rice, boxes of instant noodles, yellow noodles, sausages, sugar, seasonings, siracha, mayonnaise, ketchup, canned pork, butter, cooking oil, flour, and shampoo.

For Tet, we brought lots of traditional treats and sweets, bird nest drink, and red envelopes of lucky money for everyone. The children performed some dances they had learned in school, then everyone sat down to a lovely lunch. It was a wonderful visit!

This charity visit was made possible through the kindhearted donation from Chau Bui. Thank you!!!
